Bio Tana Plescher US Navy Corpsman
Tana Plescher is a single mother of two teenagers and US Navy Veteran OIF/OEF. She grew up in Irving, Texas and at the early age of 7, recognized she was put on this Earth to help others. That dream eventually turned into a career in medicine.
For well over a decade, Tana dedicated her life to the well-being of others. Being a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy afforded her many training opportunities in a multitude of areas. Including Combat ICU, Family Practice, Labor and Delivery (assisting in the delivery of hundreds of babies), and eventually being named the position of most Jr. ranked Lead Petty Officer of a major clinic.
Tana has also provided emergency lifesaving care to those severely injured in combat during Operation Iraqi Freedom, ultimately playing a small role in bringing America’s heroes home to their families.
Today, Tana continues to serve the veteran community as the Lead Outreach Coordinator for Grace After Fire. There, she helps guide the team to provide needed resources and care to her sisters-in-arms after the uniform.
